The Dad's Club Swim Team has two full-time coaching positions: the Head Coach and the Head Age Group Coach, as well as two assistant age group coaches. The coaching staff is responsible for all competitive aspects of the program. They enter all swimmers in meets, and develop and implement all workouts.
 
Head Coach Mark Boerner
Head Coach Mark Boerner is beginning his eighteenth year with the Dad's Club. He has over 35 years of coaching experience. He began his coaching career with summer clubs at the age of 16. Coach Boerner has produced numerous world class, senior national, junior national, YMCA, and high school athletes while at the Dads Club. His teams have won Junior National and YMCA National team titles. He has been selected as the National YMCA coach of the year, and Gulf Coach of the Year.
   Coach Boerner directs the overall program at the Dads Club. It is his responsibility to develop and maintain a nationally competitive senior and Age Group Team and to plan, organize and administer the activities of an Age Group Coaching staff. His duties include organizing the Swim Team staff, selecting meet schedules, setting the standards for team membership, representing the Swim Team at GULF, TSA, ASCA, and National USS meetings and convention.
  Coach Boerner is a past member of the USA Board of Directors, and director of its Southern Zone, National Time Standards committee, and is currently the Senior Circuit time standards chairman.
 
Head Age Group Coach Rey Aguilar
Coach Aguilar is in his seventh year at the Dad's Club, and second year as Head Age group coach. Coach Aguilar will be working with all the age group teams, and has a vast knowledge of stroke technique, race strategies for young swimmers. His dedication, knowledge, and enthusiasm guided his swimmers to outstanding performances at every level. Many of Coach Aguilar's swimmers qualify and place at TAGS and other age group meets. He was a coach for the Gulf All-star meet. He was one of Gulf's top senior swimmers, specializing in butterfly and distance free. He has participated with the Dad's Club on the Gold group for the four seasons.
  Rey received a degree marketing and advertising from St. Thomas University.
 
Age Group Coach Katie Richardson
Coach Katie Richardson has been swimming since the age of five through college. She was and Academic All American at Purdue University, specializing in IM, 100 fly and 200 free. As an age group swimmer, she placed in the top five at her high school state championships, and qualified for Junior Nationals in seven events.
  Her coaching experience began with four years of summer league working with all ages and abilities, and also as the assistant coach of the Purdue women's team.
   Katie works for Exxon Mobil Oil Co., and is married to her husband Joe.
 
Age Group Coach Kylie (Williams) Riley
Coach Kylie (Williams) Riley is getting back to her roots. Coach Riley swam at the Dad's Club since the age of 12 and was the Dad's club record holder of the 200 and 100 freestyles. While at the Dad's Club she placed 2nd at her high school state meet in the 200 free, placed at the Junior National championships, and qualified for Senior Nationals.
   She swam at Auburn University specializing in the 200 and 100 freestyles - Auburn placed in the top five at NCAA's her senior year. She has coached summer league, stroke clinics, and has given competitive swim lessons.
  Kylie works at Hines LLC, and is married to her husband Luke Riley.
